You can expect holiday & sick pay, company benefits, access to training and CPD, as well as excellent rates of pay, flexible shifts and consistency of setting wherever possible. We have long-term relationships with local care homes, specialising only in the North West so that we can keep close-knit relationships with both our clients and team members. However you want to pursue a career in care, we can help you.
Although you do not need any prior training to become an A1 Care Team member, we do insist that all of our trainee staff share our values of reliability, empathy and thoroughness. You should also have exceptional communication skills. Our selection process ensures that you are the right fit for our teams and we then build on this to ensure you have all the training you need to succeed – even if you are already qualified. We use real care home settings to train in areas such as hoist and manual handling, safeguarding, infection, safe medicine administration, communication and prevention of accidents – working towards your Care Certificate. You could even study for your NCFE CACHE Level 2 or 3, working towards becoming a senior healthcare assistant, nursing associate or assistant practitioner.
We provide all of the support you should expect from your employer, including career progression, managerial support & advice and HR administration. We will also help you develop your own personal progression plan and are here 24/7 for any issues you may have within your care home setting.
We operate a financial referral scheme for any successfully hired, trained and placed candidate that you recommend to us.
If you’re looking for your next healthcare role and want the security of an employer but with the flexibility of an agency, please get in touch to start your journey with A1 Care Teams.
